Me and my Web Log (or should that be my Web Log and I)

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I have posted anything here.

I was a little unsure what a blog was so did a little research - ahem, when I say research I don't mean busting out the ladders to the attic in a vein attempt to dig out my Cwmbran Library card. (what a poor excuse for a library)

What I do infact mean is this - I Wiki'd the term 'blog' - description below. Anyway arriving at the point of this little narative - I have no excuse not to write more on 'our' social networking website. I am either sitting infront of or have access to a computer feeding into the www more or less 18 hours a day.

I may have to break with tradition and try and introduce a cunning and relevant way to include some sort of graph into my online commentary of life. 2009 = seeing friends, staying in touch & getting out more. I will be in touch.

My starter for 10. I have a challenge. How far can YOU get...?

A blog (a contraction of the term "Web log") is a Web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order.

Stag Do Update

Due to the combined economic and time pressures of having to organise a wedding in 7 weeks, and general unavailability of people to go hillwalking I have decided to change my plans.

I am now planning to visit Snowdon in early April - probably the weekend of the 3rd, all are welcome for a bit of camping and mountains, maybe even some cakes...

If anyone would like to have a few a drinks before the wedding I was thinking of doing something relaxed on the 7th February. Can interested parties please let me know if they would be, well, interested.

Another One Bites the Dust

Oooh, I'm writing a blog!

As you may or may not be aware I'm getting married on Valentines Day and as a precursor will be having a stag do the weekend of the 24th of January, all Eggwanners are welcome at the stag do which will take place at a cottage in the Brecon Beacons and will involve a couple of nights away with walking and beer, possibly together for the adrenalin-junkies among you. Cost is likely to be around £30 per person per night for the cottage (less the more of us there are).

If anyone is interested in sharing one of my last weekends of freedom please reply to this blog post, alternatively you can contact the best man (in the loosest sense of the term), Dave on 07914 839769 or

Over and out.

Teh Internets...

You have to love it really...

mmmmm . . . .Interesting?!

I appear to have made an interesting discovery Dr. Jones . . . what's this blog malarky all about then?

Oh, there's loads and loads of options over there - - - - >

Wonder what they do? I shall explore.

The time my Calibra was towed

The time my Calibra was towed - I used to have a Vauxhall Calibra. One day I replaced it with a Vauxhall Omega (I’m not married to Vauxhall or anything, it just made sense for various long-winded reasons). On that day, I parked the Calibra at a little parking spot near my house, wrote to the DVLA, and declared it SORN. In other words I told the DVLA it was off-road and would not be paying road tax on it.
